Er...okay

Just saw The Hurt Locker. Er...don't understand how it won the Best Picture Award at the 82nd Academy Awards. I mean, it was a good film and all but definitely not worth an Oscar. Guess those judges really like small-budget, independent stuff. Wanna see a real war film? Rent Platoon (1986).

  1. I think probably the scene of explosion is difficult to catch but The Hurt Locker gives a fantastic show especially the small quivering of the little earth grains. Therefore, it is awarded the Best Picture Award.

  3. Enjoyable movies would never get prizes! It tells the difference between "commerical" and "artistic"!

  4. Man, but sometimes these artistic films just pretend to be artistic.
